Bacon Equipment
Bacon is a type of salt-cured pork made from various cuts, typically the belly or less fatty parts of the back. It is eaten as a side dish, used as a central ingredient, or as a flavouring or accent (as in bacon crumbles in a salad). Manufacturing bacon usually involves injection followed by a short massaging process and cooking along with smoking and chilling. With RGMTSI bacon manufacturing equipment, factors in each step that require consistency will be achieved resulting to a high-quality product. All of our equipment follows good manufacturing practices as well.

PrimeSlice Continuous Feed Bacon Slicer
Bacon slicing goes to a whole new level with the PrimeSlice 827C. Designed with the needs of a Food Service and Retail bacon production lines in mind, this slicer addresses product feeding, operator controls, safety and sanitation. Plastic pinch rollers and a cantilevered design jump conveyor with a sanitary seamless belt feed product to the slicer blade. The blade, powered by a 5 hp stainless steel motor, is fully guarded for operator safety. Disassembly for sanitation, washdown inspection is easy, since all the components that come in contact with product can be removed without tools. The slicer comes standard with stainless steel bearings, polyurethane timing belt drives and a stainless steel servo motor with IP69K washdown rating for fast and thorough cleaning. Additional options include wash-in-place spray systems for both the knife housing and drive housing, which allow the operator to wash the blade from both sides while it runs, without needing to open the blade housing. An optional weighing system allows each slice to be weighed in real time, eliminating the need to stop during slicing to estimate the needed slice count to attain the target weight. Additional features include digital controls for slice thickness, count and net weight. With online diagnostics, maintenance schedules and upgrades for Ethernet and SCADA, makes this the ultimate bacon slicer.

PrimeSlice Bacon Belly Slicer Feeding System
A significant productivity boost to today's exact-weight, bulk and bacon slicing lines, the bacon feeding system allows a single operator to continuously feed up to four slicing lines. Reduces human labor, product handling and production costs. Tempered, pressed and ready-to-slice bacon is loaded into the magazine of the feeder. The magazine automatically dispenses bacon bellies, one at a time. Once a bacon belly is loaded to the slicer, a sensor arm sends a signal for the next belly to be discharged onto the infeed conveyor. Thanks to the bacon feeder's efficiency, a single person can operate bacon feeders on four separate, high-speed slicing lines.
PrimeSlice Bacon Belly Slicer Feeding System
- Compact unit integrates into existing bacon slicing lines.
- Adaptable to production lines where bellies are pressed and returned to refrigerated storage or where bellies are sent to the slicer directly from the press.
- Your choice of pneumatic or PLC controls.
- Simple, rugged design for years of reliable service.
- Labor saving addition to your bacon process line.
- USDA accepted and CE approved. Built in conformity with AMI sanitary equipment design principles.
SUSPENTEC Particle Reduction System for Injection Processes
Used worldwide to process roast beef, ham, turkey breast, chicken products, steaks, fish, bacon and various other whole-muscle products, the patented SUSPENTEC process has brought significant profit building advantages to users everywhere. Hundreds of processors of fresh, cooked, refrigerated or frozen meats and seafood worldwide are using the SUSPENTEC system to add value to their products while lowering their costs of finished goods. An application-customized SUSPENTEC system inject lower cost protein materials into higher cost whole muscle products. Enhanced binding, reduced cook and chill shrink and increased slicing yields are just a few benefits realized. The heart of the SUSPENTEC process lies in its high-throughput, precise, MultiCut reduction system where the mixture recirculates through the reduction unit and mixing hopper until it becomes a homogeneous mixture of brine and ultra fine particles of meat. When exact particle size or temperature is achieved, a divert valve automatically directs suspension to feed one or two holding hoppers. An optional chiller maintains the critical suspension temperature. From the holding hopper(s), a pump delivers suspension to a standard injector. Whole muscle product is then injected with the suspension to the preset yield gain. Excess suspension from the injector is captured by a return hopper and reprocessed. The modular and compact SUSPENTEC system is adaptable to practically any plant layout.
SUSPENTEC Particle Reduction System for Injection Processes
- SUSPENTEC system consists of Mixing hopper with MultiCut reduction unit, Holding hopper(s) with optional chiller(s), Return hopper from injector, Return reduction unit (optional).
- The process involves mixing a brine solution with lower cost materials such as trimmings, rework, etc. and injecting mix into more costly whole muscle product.
- The modular SUSPENTEC system is adaptable to each unique application depending on plant layout and space considerations.
- Increased bind, reduced cook and chill shrink, increased slice yield and lower overall product cost.
- USDA accepted and CE approved. Built in conformity with AMI sanitary equipment design principles.
